    The trek to sacred lake Gosaikunda is also awesome trek though it is said initially its not good enough for you to climb too high. So, we recommend you first trek to Kyanjing Gompa and go for Gosainkunda. Then we can return from Melamchi or trek back to Sundarijal. The charm of Kyanjing is to be very close to Himalayas and our body gets fully acclimatized when we are there physically. Then to cross the Lauribinayak pass is easy. This trek is considered medium hard trek as there are climbing up hill and trekking down hill. Little physical fitness is required so you can do walk/jogging/gym before joining this trip. It makes you easy on the trek.

    Suggestion while doing Langtang Valley with Gosainkunda Trekking

    You need to drink plenty of water, juice and soup. After crossing Langtang valley you have to be more careful. Going to Tserkori also you have to be careful. There is the chance of getting altitude sickness. To prevent it we can use Diamox. Towards Gosiankund after crossing Shin Gompa you have to read your boday and keep updating with guide.

    In Autumn and Spring the weather is very nice and pleasant. It is the main trekking season. We will still need to carry warm gears. The temperature can go minus at night.     We will Welcome you at airport and transfer to hotel. Just look for your name and Supporter Trek name plate at airport. Our airport representative will receive you and transfer you at hotel. Evening breafing and on time permission we walk around Thamel.

    We will go on tour with tour guide around Kathmandu valley, visiting stupas and temples. Final preparation of trek, meeting with the guide. Pack up and ready for trek.

    Today we will drive to Syabrubesi from Kathmandu. The drive is twisting and turning and it will take us about 8-9 hours. We walk along the Trishuli River. The drive is scenic.

    Todays walk is along the river. We will come across lots of greenery. We will also meet small bamboo called ‘Ninglo’ in Nepali. We also come across Rhododendron forest.

    First section of our trek is walkihg along the river and full of greenery. We will also see Himalayas on left side. As we are near Langtang we walk on barren land with small grasses, only throny bushes are comes across our trek. Today’s walk is also basically going up. Today trial is going up and walking in flat land.

    Today we will walk for about 4 hours and that leads us to Kyanjin Gompa. We will have lunch in Kyanjin and walk around. The walk is in no tree zone. We might come across small grasses and thorny bushes.

    Today we can hike to Kanjing ri if you want to hike short. If you want long hike we carry pack lunch and hike to explore Tserko Ri. It is a long hike, it will take around 8 hours to reach on top and return.

    We will skip Langtang and hike down all the way to Lama Hotel. Today we hike down to Lama hotel mostly the trial in going downhill and we walk on flat land. Last section of the trek is more greenery.

    First section of the walk is going down hill we follow the river. Last section of our trek is climbing. The walk is about 7 hours. We can explore Thulo Syabru village.

    Today we hike up hill to Shin Gompa. From Shin Gompa you will see Himalayas. Till the Shin Gompa is Greenery. The walking will be for about 6 hours. Most of the trial is going up. In between we might meet flat land.

    Today’s we will hike uphill mostly. Mostly we meet the land that is without trees. We see small grasses and throny bushes. Towards last section it is going down hill. Otherwise we have to climb uphill. Today’s walking is about 7 hours and we sleep at the altitude of 4380m. Drink plenty of hot water and soup to be fit to altitude.

    Today we walk to Ghopte via Lauribinayak Pass 4610m. After crossing the pass, the walk is going down and down hill. It will take around 8 hours.

    We trek on flat land downhill all the way to Maghingoth. There is bit of greenery. We have to walk for about 6 hour to reach Magghingoth from Ghopte.

    Here the walk is on greenery. We come across the small village and tea houses. It will take us like 6 hours to reach Kutumsang from Maghingoth.

    Today we walk downhill uphill and reach Chisapani. Form Chisapani you get the panaromic view of Himalaya. Today is the last day of our trek we can party.

    First section of our trek is going uphill and after that to reach Sundarijal it is all downhill.

    Before 3 hours of your flight time, we will drop you to airport to fly back home.
