Nepal is rich in Culture and it is unique and antique. In Nepal the art and culture is well preserved. Crossing over the centuries present cultural heritage has been evolved. The festivals of Nepal last from one to several days. Dashain is the biggest and most important festival which fall in the month of September to mid October. It is the Victory over Demon. Tihar is second biggest festival, it is festival of light where sister put tika on forhead of brother and they wish long life of brother. New year’s day of the lunar calendar Nepal Sambat also occur at this time.

Buddha Jayanti, the celebration of the birthday of Budha, Krishnajanmashtami , the celebration of the birthday of Lord Krishna. Mahashivaratri is another greatest festival of lord shiva, many devotees come and pay a visit to Pashupatinath. Teej is another festival where females goes fasting and dancing. Before the fasting female eat Dar (it is delicious verities of food). Bisket Jatra, Mother’s day, father’s day, Janai purnima, Gaijatra, Indra Jatra, Chhat Parva, Undauli Parvva, Yomari Punhi, Lhosar, Maghe Sankanti, Holi, Ghode Jatra, Shree Ram Nawami, Kumari Jatra and Rato Macchendranath Jatra.
