    Ganga Jamuna rural municipality lies in Dhading district is famous for beautiful twin waterfalls. The big volume of water can be seen in monsoon. The place is not only naturally popular but also popular religiously too. Every year in October or November ( according to nepali calendar on the day maha ekadashi) there is the biggest festival where thousands of pilgrims pay homage at this spot. People have faith that they will be granted good health, happiness and prosperity in their lives. So, Pilgrim walk for hours with empty stomach/ fasting, they take holy baths in various waterfalls, fly the pigeon, Some of the religious people even spend the whole night lighting oil lamps (diyo). Everyone can experience the real Nepal and Nepali culture who visit this site. Ganga Jamuna is a religious spot for both Hindu and Buddhist. The very traditional act of playing traditional drum that is Dhyangro by Shamans, dance and chant mantras and visit Ganga Jamuna temple. The local people believe that goddesses Ganga Jamuna help them to get rain on time in their place. For that the villagers worship the goddesses in a grand way with Panche baja (traditional Nepali music) and priest if there is drought in their place and it is believed that goddesses Ganga Jamuna listen to their prayer and the rain occurs. Nearby the Ganga Jamuna waterfalls there is ‘Kukur Dhara’ which means dog spring in English. It is believed when you take a dip or bath here you will get rid of rabies that is caused by a dog's bite.

    Ganga Jamuna trek with Tinsure hill (Danda), 3200m Trek is a newly opened trek. It is off the beaten path. But these days even another newly opened trail called Ruby valley or Ganesh Himal trek can be combined with this trip. Tinsure Trek lies north of Dhading just above Ganga Jamuna waterfall on the top of the hill which is at the elevation of 3200m. Tinsure hill is the best known for its view. Magnificent view of majestic mountain Manaslu appears just in front of you when you reach the top of tinsure hill. The cool air and scenic beauty of mountains will last forever in your life after you trek to Ganga Jamuna with Tinsure Trek. From here you can see a panoramic view of Himalayas. Mt. Annapurna, Mt.     How hard is Gangajamuna Tinsure Trek?

    We have to travel uphill and downhill. There are also flat land. First part of the trek is going up so, it is steady up. After reaching top we have to come down. It is neither hard nor easy. It is good to carry trekking sticks. But it is good to do exercise back home before you come for this trek. This trek is best suitable for beginner and other level too.

    The view is clear in Autumn. Weather is also nice in spring and Autumn. It is also good to trek in winter. Except rainy season we need to carry water proof tents. The mountain and Himalaya view of clear in Autumn. The sunrise and sunset view clear in Autumn and Spring.

    How cold is Gangajamuna Tinsure hill Trek?

    The coldest point on the trek in Tinsure hill and on that day we need to wakeup early morning to see the sunrise over the Himalaya. One this very day is cold and we need to plan warm gear for this day.

    In winter there can be snowfall once. It can be cold for few days . Otherwise weather is pleasant.

    Our airport representative will pick you from airport. Just look for your name and Supporter treks and tours name plate and we will transfer you hotel. We do last movement shopping and evening briefing and final preparation of trek.

    The drive from Kathmandu to Dhading Besi (580m) is full of scenic beauty. We can see hills, Himalayas and most of the drive from Kathmandu to Dhading besi is through river valley and farm. The drive is about 3 hour 30 minute. Our trek starts from Dhading besi after eating Lunch (Dal Bhat) i.e. rice, lentil and vegetable. The trek from Dhading Besi to Jyamrung hill is uphill where we can see lots of terraces and small villages. On the good weather we can see various snow capped peaks such as Mt. Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang range.

    Overnight at Tent/ Camping.

    After breakfast our trek is walking on the ridge of the hill of Jyamrung and the first section of the trail is flat and the hill that we walk is facing towards the north. So, we can see the Himalayas including Netravati/Aankhu river. We can also see Ganga Jamuna and Tinsure hill (the final destination of our trek) in distance. Then our trek is downhill till Aankhu river and we walk on the bank of the river for about an hour. We will have our lunch on the river bank and enjoy the fresh running water of the river. Then the last section of the trek is uphill. So, here we can experience walking on flat land, downhill and uphill. Some part of our trek is on motorable road these days, so for the first two days you might need to carry a mask or scarf to cover your nose and mouth in the case of vehicle bypass.

    Overnight at Tent/ Camping

    Today we will explore different villages, the people of these villages are mostly farmers, they are self-sufficient, they produce cereal crops like millet, maize and rice, rare local chickens, goats, cows and buffaloes. We can also visit government school and health posts if you are interested to know about it. We can meet and interact with various ethnic groups. Most of the traditional houses are being destroyed by the earthquake 2015. And now most of the houses are one or two storied buildings and the roof and wall of the first floor is made of zinc plate.

    Overnight at Tent/ Camping

    Compared to other campsites, it is a little hard to fetch the water in the dry season. We walk through green forest and bushes. The nature is beautiful and scenic. The trekking trail is adventurous in the forest. It is the trail made by local people to fetch the timber and firewood. In the past this jungle used to pastureland of the villagers, they used to take the cattle in the jungle and leave it free until they give birth to new calf. When you reach the top point of Tinsure hill, we can see more than 10 hills towards south west. You will feel as if you are on the earth surface But not when you see high Himalayas towards the north side, the panoramic view of snow capped peaks which are higher than our hill is awesome. The shangri la of himalayas that we see from this top of hill is not less than of the view that we see from Poon Hill. We can see the Annapurna range to Langtang range. Mt. Manaslu is just in front of you. The best view point on earth where you can see more than 15 snow capped peaks on the clear weather.

    Overnight at Tent/ Camping.

    Walking from Fulkharka to Taribesi, first section is going down hill. Trekking down hill the trekking pole will help you to walk easily. Than after you reach hydro, the walk is more flat walking along the Netrawati river. (Aankhu kola).

    A spare day to explore Ratmate and fulkharka village. Or one more night at tinsure if the weather is not clear.

    It will take about 7-8 hours and we will reach Kathmandu. Free day in Kathmandu/shopping.

    We will visit Boudhnath, Pashupatinath and Bhaktapur.

    Before 3 hour of flight time we will transfer you to international airport to fly back home.

    Essential Information

    What are the gears you need carry along with you?

    You need to carry warm gears like down jacket, wind stopper, woolen cap, warm gloves, hat/cap, warm shocks. Beside that in rainy season you need to carry good rain coat. In winter don’t forget to carry Crampons.

    How is the view while we trek?

    The view of Himalayas is very beautiful for very first day or day second. When you are at Tinsure hill you will see the Panaromic view. The view of Himalayas in not less than the view of Poon Hill. You will see more than 15 snow capped peaks from Tinsure hill which is about 3200m.

    What is the food you get on Gangajamuna Tinsure Trek?

    A good cook will accompany us throughout the trip. So, he will cook us varieties of food which is hygienic. We serve you breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Mostly we use local product to cook the meals.
